In a little street in Davao, we finally concluded our food trip with some coffee, shakes, and a huge buffet of sweets. Cafe Demitasse is one really cute and comfy cafe where one can experience a feel of France in the country. They have these really cozy couches and dare I say free wifi! (Go ahead you internet leeches!) What I do love about the place is that it has a lot of space, like seriously, a lot! I regret not having taken pictures of the environment but apart from my body being tired, my camera decided to give up on me after a couple of shots.
As you can see all I can show here are a couple of the sweet stuff they put out for us. I wasn’t able to shoot their drinks anymore but they got some really cool strawberry milk shakes, coffee, and other cold drinks which I’m definitely fond of. I do wish they have a Cafe Demitasse here in Cebu, it would most likely be on my favorite places to work in. For now I’m still content with Cofifi as my refuge.
One of the favorite things I did however get to try in Cafe Demitasse is the Banoffee pie. I have never tried Banoffee pie anywhere else and this was my first time to take a generous bite of this unique and delicious pie! Though the classic egg pie remains to be the no. 1 in my heart, Banoffee did make space for itself in my heart. I do hope to try this when I can go back to Davao.
Cafe Demitasse offers a wide range of desserts from small pastries to assorted cakes. We even got to try to other chocolate cakes and some brownies. If you’re looking for some unique sweets to try out, I strongly advice putting Cafe Demitasse in your to visit list. Great place for meetings and such!
